Denuwara Menike Intercity Express train which is currently operated by a single powerset will get another powerset from the 2nd of February 2020.
The train service is expected to operate daily between Colombo and Badulla railway station for the convenience of the passengers after deploying the second powerset.
Denuwara Menike train, driven by Class S14 DEMU earned popularity among the people who visit the upcountry within a short period.
