Train Cancellations Due to Covid

Sri Lanka Railways has decided to cancel several long-distance express/intercity express and other trains from May 1st, 2021 due to low occupancy amid the surge in Covid 19 cases.

Passengers who booked tickets for Denuwara Menike ICE train will be able to travel on Podi Menike Express train(1005/1006) on 01, 02, 08, 13, 14 and 15 of May 2021 using their tickets.

Podi Menike Express train(1005/1006) will leave Colombo Fort at 6.30 am on above mentioned dates.

Kandy Intercity (1009/1010) will run on weekends.
