Tantri Trailers (PVT) Ltd started repairing and refurbishing abandoned railway compartments in 2016, and the plan is to complete 200 rail compartments by 2021.
Mr. Athula Haputantri is confident that Tantri will be able to complete repairing 200 rail compartments (Romanian coaches and Class S8 compartments) by August 2021 with the support of their highly skilled technicians.
Recently, Tantri marked another significant milestone of the project by completing the 100th refurbished rail compartment for Sri Lanka Railways. (2019/07/28)
