The inaugural meeting of the appointed committee for the restructuring of Sri Lanka Railways is scheduled for September 6th, 2023. Chaired by Mr. K.D.S. Chandraruwan, this significant event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the revitalization of Sri Lanka Railways.
The committee comprises a total of 14 members, among the committee members are individuals with extensive backgrounds in the railway sector, including past top-level members of Sri Lanka Railways.
The committee's primary agenda will revolve around crafting comprehensive, long-term plans aimed at improving and enhancing railway services.
