Sri Lanka Railways will operate several trains between selected stations and Colombo Fort to facilitate office workers who will arrive in Colombo for essential services from May 11th, 2020.
Accordingly, it is mandatory to reserve a seat through the head/relevant manager of the company and to use seats as per the number mentioned in the SMS. (You will receive an SMS with seat number prior to your journey)
Railway commuters are strongly advised to maintain 1-meter distance and follow hygienic practices while travelling on the train.
