A solid project brief on the Colombo Suburban Railway Project (CSRP) was presented to the Committee Members of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) on 21 August, 2019.
Although the main purpose of the meeting was to brief the project; the event also provided the opportunity to define the objectives, scope, activities, process, and deliverables of the project in detail.
While the Design Consultants of KV line emphasized the detail design of the KV line improvement phase-I; the Project Director presented about CSRP, and also explained each and every component and activity proposed under the Railway Efficiency Improvement Project (REIP) that was recently funded by ADB.
During the meeting, some valuable comments were given by the Committee of SLIA. These shall be incorporated into our project concept.
