General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways, Mr. Dilantha Fernando said that SLR has requested from Sri Lanka Air Force and Police Special Task Force to deploy specially trained dogs to search for explosive items.
In addition to that, necessary steps have already taken to ensure security in both railway stations and trains.
All long distance trains will be subjected to random inspections.
