Sri Lanka Railways Class M8 844 locomotive has derailed between Tambuttegama and Senarathgama railway stations causing heavy damages to the railway track.
The incident happened today early morning as reported. (2019/11/02) However, there was no word as of now about the exact cause for the derailment.
Expect delays on the train services of Northern railway line due to the derailment.
